My husband and I can’t recommend The Woods Event Center enough! We knew from the very beginning of our conversations about marriage that The Woods was where we wanted to celebrate the start of our lives together. It is such a special place to us, and the owners have treated us like family from the moment we met them. When we first started dating, we would spend evenings playing trivia on the bar side of the venue. Of course, the thought, “If I marry this man, we could get married here,” crossed my mind a time or two. The longer we dated and the more time we spent at The Woods, the more certain we became that it was going to be the place. Being regulars there made the decision easy. In fact, we even booked the venue before the proposal because we knew we wanted a beautiful fall wedding there and didn’t want to miss out on our date! Koert and Sarah were so incredibly easy to work with. They always answered our questions and helped ease so much of my anxiety throughout the planning process. They know their vendor list inside and out, and it’s obvious that they truly care about what they do and the couples they serve. They want your day to be flawless, and their hard work and dedication to their clients shows in every detail. And they have the BEST staff! AJ was our bartender, and our guests absolutely loved her. Before the wedding, we came up with a special “bride” drink together, and it was a huge hit! I’m from Indiana, so a large portion of our guests traveled from out of state. They absolutely loved The Woods and thought it was beautiful. We still get compliments about our wedding to this day. My photographer was also from out of state, and Sarah and the staff made her feel so welcome. I felt incredibly well taken care of, as did my bridesmaids in the bridal suite, and I know my husband and his groomsmen felt the same way. Another thing that makes The Woods and its owners so special is their giving heart. We had leftovers after the wedding, as you would expect, and they made sure that a Christian children’s home just up the road was able to receive them. That gesture meant so much to us and is just another example of the kind of people they are. I could truly go on and on about this venue, the staff, and the owners. You simply can’t go wrong choosing The Woods Event Center for your wedding. When you choose this place, you aren’t just choosing a beautiful venue—you’re choosing to be cared for by two people who genuinely want to make a difference in the wedding industry and in the lives of the couples they serve. We will always be grateful for this venue and Koert and Sarah being a part of our forever! Their venue and them are very special to us! ❤️
